Photos You Take

When you use Snapstick to create stickers, we temporarily process the photos you take. These photos are used solely to generate your stickers and are not stored on our servers after processing is complete.

Device Information

We collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version to help us improve the app and troubleshoot issues.

Usage Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how people use Snapstick. This helps us make the app better. We do not track individual users or collect personally identifiable information through analytics.

Purchase Information

If you make in-app purchases, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment details.

3Face Data

Snapstick does not collect, store, or retain any face data. When you create a sticker, your photo (which may contain faces) is sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI does not use this data for training purposes and does not store your images after processing is complete. We do not extract, analyze, or store any biometric or facial recognition data.

What face data does the app collect?

Snapstick does not collect any face data. We do not use facial recognition technology, and we do not extract or store any biometric identifiers or facial geometry data from your photos.

How is face data used?

Since we do not collect face data, there is no use of face data. Photos you submit are processed solely to remove backgrounds and create stickers. No facial features are analyzed, extracted, or used for any purpose including identification, authentication, or profiling.

Is face data shared with third parties?

Photos you submit (which may contain faces) are transmitted to OpenAI solely for the purpose of generating your sticker. OpenAI processes these images in real-time and does not store them after processing. OpenAI does not use your photos for training their AI models. No biometric or facial recognition data is extracted, stored, or shared by either Snapstick or OpenAI.

Where is face data stored?

Face data is not stored anywhere. Photos submitted for sticker creation are temporarily processed and immediately deleted after your sticker is generated. No facial information is extracted or retained at any point.

How long is face data retained?

Face data is not retained because it is not collected. Photos are processed in real-time and deleted immediately upon completion of sticker generation. There is no retention period for face data as none is ever stored.

4How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Process your photos and create stickers
• Improve and optimize the app experience
• Fix bugs and technical issues
• Respond to your support requests

5Data Storage & Security

Your photos are processed securely and are not permanently stored on our servers. Once your sticker is created, the original photo is deleted from our processing systems.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect any data we do process, including encryption in transit and at rest.

6Third-Party Services

Snapstick uses the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
• OpenAI: To transform your photos into stickers. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored by OpenAI after processing. OpenAI does not use your photos for training their AI models. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy for more details.
• Printify: For printing and fulfilling physical sticker orders. When you order physical stickers, your sticker design and shipping information are shared with Printify to produce and deliver your order. See Printify's Privacy Policy for more details.
• RevenueCat: For in-app purchases and analytics
• PostHog: For privacy-friendly product analytics and feature flags

7Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request information about what data we have about you
• Request deletion of your data

8Children's Privacy

Snapstick is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
